Traffic information

Please be aware that St Helen’s Road will close to traffic from 7am on Monday, October 9 and is scheduled to reopen at 5pm on Friday, December 1. The closure will be in place 24 hours a day during this time, with a diversion in place via Elphinstone Road, The Ridge, Junction Road and Sedlescombe Road North in both directions. Talented students create fantastic posters to raise e-safety awareness

For the past two weeks our students have been engaged in a programme of e-safety; learning how to stay safe when using mobile phones, social networking sites, and when playing online games, as well as discovering new ways to tackle issues such as cyber-bullying.

Students in Year 9 have created fantastic posters and adverts to create awareness of the subject, and have given perceptive, thoughtful presentations, advising fellow students on how to protect themselves, and encouraging them to seek help if affected.

Students have enjoyed participating in the program; using it to express their creativity, promote supportive friendships and increase their confidence while learning valuable life-skills. Staff, and the students themselves, are very proud of the work they have produced.
