A great term with attendance!

Attendance at Ark William Parker has improved considerably in the last term. Our boys have shown a commendable dedication to their studies and have shown the perseverance to attend school every day. We are sure that the results of this will show in their end of year assessments in the summer! Have a great half-term and see you back at school on Monday 4th June! Remember - Attendance is important!

Golden Success in Gymnastics Competition

Gymnastics Gold winners

Andy Poole, Eoghan Paton and Kial Wilkins, from Ark William Parker Academy (AWPA) came away from the Annual Sussex Schools Sports Acrobatics and Gymnastics Competition in Eastbourne with 4 gold medals.

Andy won AWPA’s first gold in the senior schools, advanced individual, scoring 9.65 - the highest score of the day in the advanced category. Eoghan won their second gold of the day, winning the senior schools intermediate section, against tough competition.

After lunch Andy and Eoghan then performed their duet, scoring 8.9, the highest score of the day, on floor, and winning AWPA’s 3rd gold of the day. A successful day for Ark William Parker Academy was rounded off when Andy, Eoghan and Kial won gold in their trio, making it 4 golds out of 4.
